Eloise Parker, artist and writer.

about

Eloise Parker is an award-winning British-born, New York-based representational artist, specializing in portraiture, flora, fauna and landscape.

A career in journalism took Eloise from London to New York City, where she rekindled her love of visual art, studying portraiture at the New York Academy of Art.

Eloise’s focus as an artist is strongly informed by her storytelling background. Years doing interviews for print and television outlets coupled with intensive traditional figurative atelier instruction provided Eloise with rigorous training in close observation and an ability to translate the unique charisma of each subject.

A passionate global traveler, Eloise uses a variety of drawing and painting techniques to interpret diverse array of landscape, flora and fauna, always on the hunt for luminosity and a compelling composition.

Currently based in Westchester, NY, Eloise continues to refine her visual art practice with Hudson Valley-based master painter, Andrew Lattimore, at the Greenwich Art Society.

Here work currently resides in private collections in New York, California, Connecticut, Texas, and internationally in London and Geneva.
